Lee Ingram has been appointed President of the Jersey Football Association (JFA), succeeding Bradley Vowden, who stepped down after six years in the role.
A local lawyer and former island footballer, Mr Ingram expressed his ambition to see football on the island grow as a diverse and inclusive sport.
“I am honoured to have been asked to represent the local Association,” he said. “Bradley was an incredible ambassador for football in Jersey, and I will do my utmost to continue his legacy.”
“His passion for football, particularly for the development of the female game, will be a real asset to our sport in Jersey.”
JFA Chairman Jimmy Kelly welcomed the appointment, highlighting Mr Ingram’s strong ties to sporting communities across the island. “Lee’s voluntary support for our teams at the recent Island Games in Orkney was much appreciated,” Mr Kelly said. “His passion for football, particularly for the development of the female game, will be a real asset to our sport in Jersey.”
Mr Kelly also paid tribute to Mr Vowden, thanking him for his dedication, leadership, and significant contribution to local football over his tenure.
