Cool Breeze Keeps Jersey Feeling Chilly Despite Sunshine

Sunny skies are set to continue across Jersey over the coming days, but islanders are being warned not to be fooled by the brightness, with a persistent cool breeze making temperatures feel noticeably lower.
While conditions remain largely dry and settled, the combination of clear skies and coastal winds is creating a sharp contrast between what the thermometer shows and how it actually feels outdoors. Spring temperatures in on the island are typically mild, often ranging between around 6°C and 12°C in April , but the wind is currently adding a chill to the air.
Forecasters indicate this pattern of sunshine paired with a brisk breeze could linger for much of the next week, with little sign of significant rainfall. Islanders can expect bright conditions to dominate, though mornings and evenings are likely to feel particularly cool.
People heading out are advised to dress in layers, as the sunshine may be strong but the wind continues to take the edge off what would otherwise feel like pleasant spring weather.
