A sailing boat was brought safely into St Helier after getting into difficulty in strong winds and tides off the Jersey coast.
Jersey Coastguard spotted the vessel south of the Demi de Pas lighthouse at around 16:25 BST on Sunday. The boat appeared to be struggling to make headway in the difficult conditions.
The St Helier RNLI all-weather lifeboat was called out to assess the situation.
Rescuers said the sailing boat was making little progress against the strong winds and tides, prompting the lifeboat crew to assist it back to St Helier.
No injuries were reported.
