Police Appeal After Man Injured in Late-Night St Helier Pub Assault

A man was taken to hospital after an alleged assault outside a St Helier pub in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police said the incident happened outside Bacchus Bar on La Motte Street between around 3.30am and 4.30am on 20 June, when the victim was reportedly attacked by two men.
The man suffered bruising to his face, nose and body and required medical treatment.
Officers described both suspects as being around six feet tall. Police said one man had an English accent and the other had an Irish accent.
One of the men was reportedly shirtless, wearing beige shorts and carrying a black rucksack. The second suspect was believed to be wearing a white jacket and black shorts.
Jersey Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
