Parade Gardens will come alive this weekend as the Fête de St Helier returns on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July, offering islanders a celebration of food, culture and community.
Visitors can sample street food, traditional favourites and drinks from around the world, while exploring stalls showcasing artisan crafts, handmade creations and locally produced goods.
Alongside the market atmosphere, families and visitors can enjoy live entertainment, fairground rides and a range of activities throughout the weekend.
A key part of the celebrations will be the annual pilgrimage marking the life of St Helier, the Parish’s patron saint. The pilgrimage will begin at 2pm on Saturday at the Town Church, with everyone welcome to take part.
The route will pass through the Fête celebrations before continuing to Elizabeth Castle and returning to the Town Church, where refreshments will be available.
Constable Inna Gardiner said the event reflects the importance of the town and its community.
“St Helier belongs to everyone,” she said. “If St Helier thrives, Jersey thrives. This weekend, there is so much to do, and everyone can enjoy exactly what they want to enjoy.”
Road closures will be in place around the event from 6pm on Friday 17 July, with roads expected to reopen at 6am on Monday 20 July.
