Award-Winning Wildlife Photography on Show at Jersey Zoo
A striking collection of images from the world-famous Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition has gone on display at Jersey Zoo.
Now in its 60th year, the exhibition is on loan from London’s Natural History Museum and features some of the best entries selected from more than 59,000 submissions by photographers of all ages across 117 countries.
The winning images, celebrated for their beauty and impact, can be seen at the Durrell Discovery Centre until 28 September.
Durrell CEO Rebecca Brewer said the exhibition’s return was an important reminder of the charity’s mission. “These breathtaking and poignant images highlight why our work to protect threatened species is more vital than ever,” she said. “We hope islanders and visitors alike will be inspired by what they see.”
