Voisin Law has appointed Advocate Emily Paris-Hunter as a partner and head of its Property Department as the Jersey law firm continues to expand its legal services.

Advocate Paris-Hunter joins the firm with extensive experience advising commercial, institutional and private clients on a wide range of property matters, including development projects, commercial leasing, real estate finance, and high-value acquisitions and disposals. Her expertise also includes multi-unit developments, off-plan transactions and alternative property ownership structures.

She will lead Voisin Law's Property Department, overseeing advice to local and international clients on all aspects of Jersey property law across both residential and commercial sectors.

The appointment coincides with the firm's first anniversary at its La Motte Street offices, marking a year of growth for the independent, full-service practice.

Principal Partner Jeffrey Giovannoni said the appointment reflected the firm's continued investment in its property offering.

"Emily combines technical excellence with a strong commercial approach and will play an important role in the continued development of our Property practice," he said.

Advocate Paris-Hunter said she was looking forward to joining the firm at an exciting stage in its development.

"The firm's commitment to client service and investment in its people made it an attractive opportunity. I look forward to working with clients to provide practical, commercially focused advice and help deliver transactions efficiently," she said.

Voisin Law said the appointment reinforces its commitment to strengthening its property team and supporting the evolving needs of Jersey's residential and commercial property market.
