Two Arrested Following Offensive Graffiti Spree in St Helier
Two men have been arrested in connection with a series of graffiti incidents in St Helier, including one where a swastika was spray-painted on a primary school.
Police launched an investigation after receiving multiple reports on Friday morning of "offensive and abusive graffiti" appearing across the town. The vandalism was found on vehicles, buildings, and public spaces.
A 51-year-old man and a 37-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of malicious damage under Common Law, police confirmed.
The incidents have sparked concern across the community. Last week, Chief Minister Deputy Lyndon Farnham said he was "deeply disturbed" by the nature of the graffiti.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
