St Ouen’s Bay golf club hits market with £9.95m price tag after six decades of family ownership

A long-established coastal golf and country club in Jersey has been placed on the market with an asking price of £9.95 million.

Les Mielles Golf & Country Club, which spans 62 acres at St Ouen’s Bay, has been operating since the 1960s and serves men’s, women’s and junior golfers. The venue also acts as a hub for several local golf societies and has previously hosted PGA Championship events.

The course is laid out as two nine-hole loops and is complemented by a clubhouse and restaurant, a pro shop, office space, staff accommodation, and a beauty salon with treatment rooms.

Co-owner and director of golf Jonathan Le Brun said the decision to sell the family-run business, which has been passed down through four generations, was “not an easy decision,” but reflected “the right time to hand over the reins.”

He said the club is currently operating efficiently and benefits from multiple revenue streams, including memberships, visitor green fees, hospitality, and events.

The property is being marketed through Savills Jersey. Le Brun added: “Everything is in place for a smooth transition.”

The club confirmed that all existing memberships and prepaid subscriptions will continue to be honoured for the remainder of their current terms.
