A new theatre production designed to help children understand the risks of the digital world will soon visit primary schools across the island.
The play, titled The Net, was created with input from young people, parents and safeguarding professionals. It tells the story of a girl who gains online popularity but begins sharing images on platforms not suitable for her age.
Following each performance, pupils will take part in an interactive workshop led jointly by NSPCC Jersey and the theatre team, giving them a chance to discuss the themes and ask questions.
In September and October, the tour will reach Year 6 classes in 28 island primary schools, aiming to equip children with the knowledge to stay safe online.
