New Digital Innovation Fellow Appointed by Jersey Heart Team

The Jersey Heart Team has appointed Jack Devin as its new Digital Research and Innovation Fellow, a role funded by the Jersey Heart Support Group.

Mr Devin will work across clinical, research and digital programmes, focusing on heart failure research, patient experience and the use of data and technology to improve cardiovascular care in Jersey. His work will include involvement in clinical trials, assessing wearable technology and identifying barriers to outpatient attendance.

Consultant cardiologist Dr Andrew Mitchell said the appointment marked an important step for cardiology on the island, while Mr Devin said he was looking forward to helping develop innovative and practical digital health solutions.

The Jersey Heart Support Group said the fellowship supports the Heart Team’s wider aim of expanding research and digital innovation in everyday clinical care.
