LibertyBus has raised single bus fares for contactless payments, with adult tickets increasing by 20p to £2.75 and children’s fares rising to £1.40 from £1.27.
Passengers under five will continue to travel free of charge.
This marks the first fare hike since April 2025, following the operator’s new 10-year contract with the island government.
As part of its next decade of service, LibertyBus plans to expand its fleet with more ultra-low and zero-emission vehicles, supporting Jersey’s environmental objectives.
