Flash Sale Holiday Packages Aim to Revive Jersey Tourism

Discounted package holidays are being offered to boost visitor numbers to Jersey after a dip in tourism this year.

The Jersey Hospitality Association (JHA), working alongside Visit Jersey and the wider holiday industry, has launched the scheme to encourage late-season bookings. Chair Malcolm Lewis said the initiative was designed to help the sector recover before the end of 2025.

He explained that the slowdown was linked less to the island itself and more to consumer caution, with travellers holding back on spending for leisure and luxury breaks.

Visit Jersey has supported the campaign by funding UK marketing, and early signs show strong demand: around 300 bookings were made within 48 hours of the sale being announced.

Mr Lewis noted that the season began with setbacks, including challenges with ferry services, but said there was still time to recover momentum before the year ends. He added that the campaign could also lay the foundations for a stronger 2026.

The flash sale runs until 3 September.
