Residents and visitors alike will have the chance to discover more of Jersey’s history this weekend, as several of the island’s most notable attractions lower their entry fees.

Four landmarks – the Jersey Museum and Victorian House, the Georgian House at 16 New Street, the Royal Court and States Chamber, and the Jersey War Tunnels – are joining the 42nd European Heritage Days, which run from Friday through Sunday.

The international initiative, led by France’s Ministry of Culture, encourages greater public access to cultural treasures across the continent. Jersey participates through its cultural partnership with Normandy and the Département de la Manche.

This year’s theme celebrates architectural heritage, inviting visitors to explore the design, craftsmanship, and history that have shaped the island’s most recognisable sites.

Entry to the Jersey Museum and Victorian House will be free for the duration of the event, while the other venues will welcome guests at a reduced cost.
