A new festive attraction has arrived in St Helier as ArtHouse Jersey launches its Future Festive: Winter Art Market, inviting islanders to consider giving locally made art as Christmas gifts.
Running over twelve days, the market brings together 17 Jersey artists and community groups, each offering a selection of prints, original pieces, and limited-edition works—ideal for anyone looking for thoughtful, one-of-a-kind presents.
Beyond the stalls, visitors can experience two immersive installations designed to encourage a moment of calm amid the seasonal bustle. Harmonic Portals by UK artist Chris Plant uses minimalist light and sound sculptures to translate shifting colours into audio frequencies, creating an atmospheric sensory environment. Returning this year is Photo // Synthesis, a collaborative work by sound artist Jack Chown and visual artist Neal Coghlan, adding to the market’s cosy winter ambience.
The Winter Art Market is open from Wednesday 10 December to Sunday 21 December 2025 at ArtHouse Jersey’s Capital House venue. Standard opening hours are 12pm to 6pm, with late-night sessions until 8pm on Thursday 11 and Thursday 18 December. Entry is free.
