Jersey's volunteer lifeboat crews responded to a series of incidents across the island on Saturday, with the RNLI describing it as an exceptionally busy day for its teams. One of the largest operations began after a paddleboard washed ashore at Archirondel in St Martin, prompting fears that two children could still be in the water. Lifeboat crews carried out an extensive search of the surrounding area before police confirmed there had been no reports of any missing children.
