White Collar DJ Charity Night Set to Return

An unusual charity event that swaps office attire for headphones and laptops for turntables is back for its second year.

The White Collar DJ event, in aid of Macmillan Jersey, gives complete beginners an intensive crash course in DJing before they step into the spotlight to perform live.

This year’s show will be held at the Royal Yacht Hotel on Saturday 15 November, sponsored by Evelyn Partners International. Contestants will be mentored by Spim, a familiar name on Jersey’s club scene, before facing judgment from both a panel of experts and the audience on the night.

Stephanie Gibaut, chief executive of Macmillan Jersey, said the event was about far more than music. “Every beat and every cheer at this event represents hope, strength, and compassion for those affected by cancer in Jersey,” she said. “We’re so grateful to everyone who steps up to perform, support, and donate – you are the reason we can continue providing our services free of charge.”

Matt Falla, partner in investment management at Evelyn Partners International, said the firm was proud to support the fundraiser.“We’re delighted to be sponsoring the return of the White Collar DJ Event and to help raise vital funds for Macmillan Jersey,” he said.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at £110 each or £1,100 for a table of ten. More details are available at macmillanjersey.com/event/2025-white-collar-dj or via email at fundraising@macmillanjersey.com
