Schoolboy’s Ice Cream Flavour Hits Shelves in Charity Collaboration
A 12-year-old student has seen his ice cream creation brought to life, after winning a competition aimed at young designers in Jersey.
Will’s winning flavour, named “Peachy Beachy,” is now being produced by Jersey Dairy and sold at Co-op stores across the island for one week only.
A share of proceeds from each sale will be donated to Les Amis, a local charity that supports islanders with learning disabilities.
Eamon Fenlon, managing director of Jersey Dairy, said the competition attracted hundreds of entries from young hopefuls.
“Peachy Beachy” is described as a refreshing summer treat, and has already generated excitement among customers and charity supporters alike.
