Two buildings in Jersey were evacuated following reports of a gas leak, according to Jersey Fire and Rescue.
A section of La Grande Route de Trinité, located north of St Helier, was closed off as part of the emergency response. Traffic was being redirected by honorary police between La Rue de Mon Sejour, south of the Sir Francis Cook Gallery, and Rue de la Godillerie near the Lyndale Sports turning.
The fire service advised some local residents to stay indoors and keep their windows closed, while others were urged to avoid the area altogether.
