Jersey Students Learn About Sustainability
School children in Jersey are learning about sustainability through a campaign led by Jersey Reuse Revolution (JRR). In collaboration with the government, JRR has provided sustainable swap kits to schools across the island, featuring refillable deodorants, locally made soaps, and plastic-free products.
Sessions held at schools like Janvrin Primary aim to encourage discussions on sustainability. Pupils Florence, 11, and Lorenzo, 10, found the experience fun and educational, highlighting the importance of recycling and eco-friendly choices.
JRR co-founder Louise Carson hopes the initiative will inspire children to bring sustainable habits into their homes and influence future generations.
