Police appeal after reports of speeding cars across west Jersey

Jersey Police are appealing for witnesses after several reports of vehicles being driven at speed across the west of the island in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The reports were made between approximately 3.30am and 5am on 3 October, with incidents reported in a number of locations including Les Quennevais, La Moye, Corbière, the Five Mile Road, Les Landes and L’Etacq.
Officers attended the areas and carried out patrols, but no vehicles matching the reports were located.
Police are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the vehicles to come forward. Drivers with dashcam footage are also being urged to share recordings, even if the vehicle’s registration number cannot be clearly seen.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas are being asked to review CCTV, doorbell cameras and any other available footage that could help identify the vehicles involved.
Anyone with information can contact Jersey Police on 612612.
Information can also be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through its online reporting service.
Anyone with relevant video footage can upload it through Kulpa Cloud.
Police say even footage that does not clearly show a registration plate could still assist their investigation.
