Lifeguard patrols at Plémont and Grève de Lecq will end this Sunday, 14 September, as the RNLI’s peak summer season draws to a close.
Cover will remain in place at St Ouen’s Bay (Le Braye, El Tico and Watersplash) and St Brelade’s Bay, where lifeguards will patrol daily from 10am to 6pm until 28 September.
From October, Le Braye will have weekend patrols on the 4–5, 11–12 and 18–19, with full daily cover returning for the half-term break between 25 October and 2 November.
RNLI lead supervisor Jake Elms praised his team’s efforts during a demanding summer:“Our lifeguards worked tirelessly through a busy August bank holiday and the dangerous conditions brought by Storm Erin. I’d like to thank them all for their dedication and professionalism.”
