Extra Festive Flights Link Jersey and Dublin This Christmas
Islanders will be able to fly directly from Jersey to Dublin this Christmas, thanks to additional services announced by Blue Islands.
The airline is introducing four special flights over the festive period, making it easier for people to spend Christmas and New Year with friends and family in Ireland’s capital. The Jersey–Dublin route normally operates only during the summer months.
The move follows Blue Islands’ August announcement of direct flights to Bruges, Belgium, aimed at travellers seeking a European Christmas market getaway.
Chief executive Rob Veron said the extra flights were designed to take the stress out of holiday travel. “We know how important it is for families to be together at Christmas,” he said. “Whether you’re heading to Dublin to celebrate with loved ones, ringing in the New Year in Ireland, or welcoming visitors to Jersey, these flights will make the journey simple.”
The direct services are scheduled for 23, 27, and 30 December, as well as 3 January.
