A new free glossy magazine dedicated to health, wellbeing and care is set to hit doorsteps and distribution points across the island this summer, marking a fresh addition to Jersey’s media landscape.

Published by The Times Jersey, the new title 'Jersey Better Health Magazine', will launch in July and will be distributed island-wide. The magazine will focus on practical, community-driven health content designed to support residents in living healthier, more informed lives.

Covering a wide range of topics, Jersey Better Health will feature editorial content spanning home care, residential and nursing care services for older people and those with additional needs, alongside fitness, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and everyday healthy living advice tailored specifically to life in Jersey.

The publication aims to bring together expert insight, local services, and human stories from across the island’s health and social care sector. It will also highlight initiatives, organisations, and individuals making a difference in the wellbeing of Jersey’s communities.

Unlike traditional news publications, Jersey Better Health Magazine will be produced as a glossy, easy-to-read magazine, designed to be accessible for a wide audience, including families, carers, and older residents. It will be distributed free of charge and will appear across key public locations as well as through island-wide delivery.

Following its launch in July, the magazine is expected to run on a quarterly basis, providing a regular, seasonal guide to health and wellbeing in Jersey.

A spokesperson for the publication said the aim is to create a trusted resource that “helps people make better, more informed choices about their health and care, while also celebrating the work being done across the island.”

With growing public interest in preventative health and community care, Jersey Better Health Magazine is expected to become a new staple publication for residents looking to stay informed and engaged with wellbeing across Jersey. It's new vibrant website will be live the first week of July for islanders to read online and read about all things healthy living on the island.
