DFDS Defends Jersey Ferry Schedule Amid Criticism
Ferry operator DFDS has defended its planned Jersey service after criticism from Condor CEO Christophe Mathieu, who claimed the new schedule offers fewer sailings and slower crossings.
DFDS, set to begin operations on 28 March, stated that its timetable prioritises reliability and resilience. The company emphasised its investment in a modern fleet and promised ongoing service improvements to maintain strong connections to France and the UK.
It also pledged to build a long-term partnership with Jersey and integrate into the local community.
