New Signs Urge Jersey Dog Owners to Keep Pets Under Control on Footpaths
New signs have been installed along Jersey footpaths to remind dog owners to keep their pets under control, particularly when near livestock or other animals.
The Government of Jersey’s Infrastructure and Environment Department (I&E) said the signs were placed on paths owned by private landowners who permit public access.
Dog owners are encouraged to use leads in areas with livestock or landowner pets. I&E thanked those already following the guidance, saying responsible behaviour helps maintain access to the footpath network for everyone.
