Jersey Ministers Rack Up £57,000 in Travel Expenses


Jersey ministers spent nearly £60,000 on official travel in 2024, government figures have revealed.


The costs included a £3,500 trip to Doha by Treasury Minister Elaine Millar and a £7,500 four-day visit to the U.S. by External Relations Minister Ian Gorst for an International Monetary Fund meeting.


Ministerial travel expenses covered multiple international engagements throughout the year, reflecting the government's participation in global economic and diplomatic discussions.
