In the wake of yesterday’s announcement concerning Blue Islands, Ports of Jersey has welcomed Loganair’s decision to step in and safeguard the island’s key air links — including the crucial medical connection to Southampton.

Loganair is set to begin operating flights to and from Jersey on Sunday, 16 November, and has outlined plans to establish a permanent base on the island.

To assist passengers affected by the disruption, the airline will offer special rescue fares across several routes. Further information and booking details are available at www.loganair.co.uk/rescuefares.

Ports of Jersey expressed gratitude for Loganair’s quick action and its commitment to maintaining the island’s connectivity during a challenging period. Officials say they look forward to developing a strong working relationship with the airline in the months ahead.
