Five talented students from Beaulieu Convent School have secured a major drama award after impressing judges at a prestigious UK competition.
The Year 10 students competed in the Independent Schools Association drama competition, performing against pupils from independent schools across the country.

Despite being the youngest performers in the competition, the group claimed victory after presenting an extract from Girls Like That by Evan Placey during the event held in February.
The students took part over three days of competition, showcasing their acting skills and dedication on a national stage.
Beaulieu’s Head of Drama and Dance, Tania du Bois, praised the pupils’ achievement, saying their “hard work, talent and sheer perseverance” had helped them perform exceptionally well.
She added that giving young people opportunities to take part in drama was important and that every child should have the chance to develop their confidence and creativity through acting.
The award marks a significant achievement for the school’s drama department and highlights the talent emerging from Jersey’s young performers.
