EasyJet to Restore Direct Jersey–Southend Flights from 2026

Islanders will once again be able to fly directly to Essex from 2026, as easyJet prepares to reinstate its Jersey–Southend air link.

The budget carrier has added the route to its summer 2026 programme, offering twice-weekly flights between Jersey and the coastal Essex airport. Services are scheduled to begin in March, operating on Mondays and Thursdays.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said the airline was “delighted” to relaunch the connection.

“We remain committed to giving customers more choice at great value and making travel as simple as possible. We look forward to welcoming even more passengers onboard next year,” he said.

Ports of Jersey CEO Matt Thomas welcomed the announcement, calling it a positive step for the island’s travel network.

“easyJet’s ongoing investment in Jersey and the addition of this new Southend service will offer passengers more options and help strengthen confidence in our long-term connectivity,” he said.

Fares for the Southend route will start at £49.99 one way. The service joins easyJet’s existing links from Jersey to London Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
