Jersey Post Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Siviter, has been elected to the Board of Directors of PostEurop, the association representing postal operators across Europe. His appointment follows a vote held during PostEurop’s General Assembly in Albania.
Mr Siviter will begin his two-year term on 1 January 2026, joining a board made up of senior representatives from some of Europe’s leading postal organisations, including Deutsche Post and DHL (Germany), Swiss Post, PostNL (Netherlands), Royal Mail (UK), La Poste Groupe (France), PostNord (Sweden) and HayPost (Armenia). The board is chaired by Elena Fernández-Rodríguez of Spain’s Correos Group.
PostEurop, which represents 53 members from 51 countries, works to strengthen cooperation and innovation across the European postal sector, with a focus on sustainability and growth.
Speaking about his election, Mr Siviter said:
“Being part of PostEurop places Jersey on the international stage, alongside some of the most influential postal operators in Europe. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members on key topics that will shape the future of our industry.”
Botond Szebeny, Secretary General of PostEurop, congratulated the new board, saying:
“We warmly congratulate all elected Board Members and wish them a successful and impactful term ahead. The new Board’s leadership will be crucial as PostEurop continues to drive connectivity, sustainability, and transformation across Europe’s postal network.”
In a further development for Jersey Post, Tracy Hayward, the company’s International Director, has been appointed Chair of PostEurop’s RADAR group—a forum dedicated to the needs of smaller postal operators.
RADAR, which stands for Reactivity, Agility, Decision, Adaptability and Result, provides a platform for collaboration and the exchange of best practices among smaller Posts.
Ms Hayward said:
“I’m honoured to take on this new role and excited to build closer cooperation between smaller Posts as we address our shared challenges and pursue sustainable solutions.”
