Jersey Sees Slight Rise in Inflation to 2.6%
Jersey’s inflation rate has edged up over the past quarter, with the annual rate reaching 2.6% in June 2025, according to newly released data.
Figures from the island’s Retail Prices Index (RPI) show a modest increase from the 2.3% recorded in the previous quarter. The RPI tracks changes in the cost of a range of goods and services across the island.
The latest rise was largely driven by higher prices in leisure goods and services, including spending on sports and travel off-island.
However, declining costs in housing, petrol, and diesel helped ease the overall upward pressure on prices, Statistics Jersey reported.
