New guidance aimed at helping Jersey’s business community navigate the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been issued by the Institute of Directors (IoD) Jersey.
The organisation says the framework offers practical support for directors and senior executives as they respond to fast-moving technological changes affecting every sector of the economy. It is intended to address common concerns among leaders who remain cautious about adopting AI.
IoD Jersey chair Ian Webb highlighted the growing impact of AI on businesses worldwide, warning that local organisations risk falling behind if they fail to act.
He stressed that companies must put the right plans and oversight in place to integrate AI responsibly, ensuring they have both the governance structures and expertise required.
The guidelines are designed to give leaders the confidence to develop clear AI strategies while maintaining strong safeguards around their use.
Available to both IoD members and the wider business community, the publication forms part of the organisation’s broader efforts to strengthen digital leadership and prepare Jersey’s economy for the future.
