A ferry link between Jersey and Guernsey has carried more than 25,000 passengers in its first summer of operation, according to operator Islands Unlimited.
Chief executive Chad Murray said the strong passenger numbers since the launch in June highlighted how important the route had quickly become.
“Reliable ferry links are vital for tourism, business and community connections, and we’re proud to be part of that story,” he said.
The company has now confirmed its sailing schedule for 2026, with services running from March until the end of October. Regular daily crossings between the two islands are planned, with journey times of around an hour.
Mr Murray described the service as a growing contributor to the Channel Islands economy and hinted at possible expansion in the future, with other Bailiwick islands being considered for inclusion.
The service will pause over winter before resuming in spring.
