Grant Funding to Help Grow Softball in Jersey
The governing body for softball in Jersey is aiming to expand the sport following a recent grant award.
The Jersey Softball Association (JSA) has received £8,840 from the Jersey Community Foundation, funded by the Channel Islands Lottery, to support the development of the game.
According to the JSA, the grant will be used in several key areas, including youth outreach, umpire training courses, and general operational costs.
Robin Tadier, president of the JSA, described the funding as "amazing" and said it would make "such a difference" to the sport locally.
“We're incredibly grateful,” Mr Tadier added. “This support will have a huge impact on our ability to grow the sport and boost local participation.”
