New Tech Scheme Offers Year-Round Funding for Ideas to Benefit Jersey
Tech entrepreneurs and innovators are being encouraged to put forward ideas that could boost Jersey’s economy, environment, and community, as part of a new initiative launched by Digital Jersey.
The Innovation Programme will provide funding for technology-driven projects that address key challenges on the island. Unlike traditional grant schemes, this programme will be open year-round, offering a rolling application process with no fixed deadlines.
Organisers hope the flexible format will make it easier for individuals and businesses to access support when they’re ready, rather than rushing to meet cut-off dates.
The initiative aims to support solutions that improve productivity, tackle housing issues, and help Jersey respond to climate change.
“This new programme is about helping to turn good ideas — large and small — into real outcomes that can benefit Jersey’s people, economy, and environment,” said Tony Moretta, chief executive of Digital Jersey.
The scheme is being delivered in partnership with Impact Jersey, which supports innovation projects that drive positive change for the island.
