DFDS Opens October Bookings for UK and France Routes
Ferry operator DFDS has released its October sailing schedule for routes between the UK and France, with bookings now open to the public.
The updated timetable has been designed to meet increased demand during the school half-term break, offering more travel flexibility for passengers planning autumn getaways.
Key highlights of the October schedule include:
Monday to Saturday sailings to Portsmouth aboard the Stena Vinga, with an additional Friday evening departure at 8pm.
Afternoon sailings on the Jersey to Poole route, operated by the high-speed Levante Jet.
Continued cross-Channel services to St. Malo and Guernsey via the Tarifa Jet, running throughout the month.
DFDS says the current timetable is part of a broader effort to optimise services ahead of the busy holiday period.
Chris Parker, Route Director for Jersey, noted that the full autumn/winter schedule will be available shortly.
“Our teams have worked hard to align vessel availability with key travel days and continue to do so for the rest of the autumn/winter schedule,” he said. “We understand how important it is for families to make plans in advance, especially around school holidays, which is why we’ve prioritised releasing our October schedule early.”
Passengers can now book travel across all DFDS routes online.
