Charities to Gain Boost from Year-Long Support

Two local charities will receive a year of support from a business organisation in Jersey. The Institute of Directors (IoD) Jersey has announced it will back Beresford Street Kitchen, which provides training and employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

It will also support Sanctuary Trust, a charity offering accommodation and guidance to men facing homelessness or personal crisis.

The IoD said its decision reflects a continued commitment to supporting organisations that make a meaningful positive impact in the community. Representatives from both charities are expected to attend IoD Jersey events throughout 2026 to raise awareness of their work and highlight the challenges they face.
