Channel Islands Christmas Lottery tickets go on sale

Tickets for this year’s Channel Islands Christmas Lottery are now available, with the jackpot guaranteed to be at least £300,000.
The top prize could rise further depending on ticket sales. Last year, the jackpot reached £493,320.
The annual lottery will feature 65 cash prizes, alongside more than £500,000 in instant-win prizes. Tickets remain priced at £2.
Money raised from ticket sales in Jersey will be distributed to local good causes through the Jersey Community Foundation, the Association of Jersey Charities and Jersey Sport. In Guernsey, proceeds will support local charities through the Social Investment Fund.
The winning ticket has been sold in Jersey for each of the past two years.
Jon Taylor, Head of Lottery, said sales had increased following the introduction of a dedicated syndicate delivery service through the lottery's website.
The online syndicate delivery service will continue this year.
"Today, every pound raised by the lottery after prizes and costs continues to support worthy causes across our communities," Mr Taylor said.
"We are proud that the lottery continues to contribute so much to charity and good causes that benefit the islands."
This year's draw will be held at Beau Sejour in Guernsey as part of celebrations marking the leisure centre's 50th anniversary.
The winning numbers will be announced Channel 103 from 6pm on Thursday, 17 December.
