Jersey Nursing Home Submits Plans for 42 New Housing Units

A nursing home in Jersey has submitted a planning application to expand its facilities by adding 42 new residential units.

St Joseph’s, located on St John’s Road in St Helier, has proposed demolishing an existing garage on the property to make way for an electrical substation on the north-east side of the site as part of the project.

The proposed units would primarily consist of one-bedroom apartments, with four two-bedroom units included. According to the application, the development would provide sheltered housing for individuals aged 55 and over.

The planning application is open for public consultation until 18 March.
