Car Catches Fire After Collision in St Peter

A car caught fire following a two-vehicle collision in St Peter, according to emergency services.
The incident occurred near Roberts Garage West around 11:00 BST, prompting a response from both police and fire crews.
All occupants were safely out of the vehicles when emergency services arrived. Police reported that, fortunately, no serious injuries were sustained.
The road was closed between the Airport Roundabout and the Airport Playing Fields while crews responded. Firefighters confirmed that the burning vehicle was not electric.
Authorities thanked motorists for their patience and for avoiding the area during the disruption.
