The island’s infrastructure minister has signed off on plans to relocate Jersey’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to more suitable premises.
Constable Andy Jehan confirmed, via a ministerial decision, that the service will move into Bermuda House on Green Street, St Helier, with a lease agreement running until 2036.
Officials warned that CAMHS would face difficulties operating beyond September 2026 without improved facilities.
In approving the move, the minister said Bermuda House would provide a modern, fit-for-purpose base to support the service over the next decade.
