Campaigners are urging authorities to remove the name of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from a granite monument located at Elizabeth Marina in St Helier.

The request follows renewed scrutiny over the former prince’s past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as well as his recent arrest over allegations of misconduct in public office.

Ports of Jersey, which oversees the marina, said no immediate changes would be made to the monument while a formal investigation into Mountbatten-Windsor is ongoing. A spokesperson added that any decision to alter the memorial would depend on the outcome of the inquiry and whether instructions were issued by the Royal Household.

Mountbatten-Windsor, the brother of the King, has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in relation to the allegations.
