A new air link between Jersey and Paris is set to launch ahead of the summer season, further expanding travel options for islanders. Blue Islands will operate the twice-weekly service to Charles de Gaulle Airport, with flights scheduled to commence on 22 May. The route will run on Mondays and Thursdays until 30 October and is expected to return in 2026.

The introduction of this connection is part of broader efforts to enhance Jersey’s air links. The initiative benefits from financial support through the government’s Better Business Support Package, which has allocated up to £2 million over two years to aid the development of new routes. A portion of this funding is being used to promote and market the new service.

The new flights aim to provide a convenient option for both leisure and business travelers, offering a direct route to one of Europe’s major transport hubs. Additionally, it is anticipated that the service will help attract more visitors to Jersey, strengthening economic and cultural ties between the island and France.

The launch of the Paris route has already sparked interest from other airlines, with several expressing unsolicited interest in exploring potential new connections. The expectation is that this service will act as a catalyst for further expansion, encouraging more carriers to consider Jersey as a viable destination.

In addition to providing greater connectivity for residents, the route is positioned as an opportunity to boost inbound tourism. The accessibility of Paris, known for its extensive transport network, could help raise Jersey’s profile among European travelers.

Flights for the new service are available for booking now through the Blue Islands website. To mark the launch, discounted fares are being offered for a limited time, with one-way tickets starting at £89.99, including 23kg hold luggage.
