Giant Bubbles Bring Art and Fun to St Helier

A dazzling display of giant, iridescent bubbles has transformed a section of grass at the Jersey International Finance Centre, as part of ArtHouse Jersey’s latest exhibition, Bubbletecture. The installation, by Sydney-based Atelier Sisu, will be on display until 14 September and is free to visit 24/7, with enhanced lighting and a soundtrack from 9.30am to 9.30pm.

ArtHouse Jersey Director Tom Dingle says the work is designed to inspire “wonder, joy and togetherness,” offering an accessible, playful experience for all visitors.

The exhibition is accompanied by free weekend cultural and wellbeing events, including ballet performances by Ballet d’Jerri, yoga sessions, music from local artists, children’s bubble play and craft activities, and DJ sets.

Lee Henry, CEO of Jersey Development Company, highlighted the installation’s role in transforming the IFC2 site into a vibrant public space, bringing creative energy to the heart of town.

Bubbletecture is part of the Butterfield Public Arts Series and showcases the award-winning, site-specific work of Atelier Sisu, known for blending art and architecture in imaginative ways worldwide.
