Jet2 has announced a major expansion of its Jersey operations for summer 2027, including the launch of two brand-new routes from Birmingham and Bristol.

The airline will also increase services from Manchester and extend its Jersey schedule through to the end of October, offering travellers more flexibility during the peak holiday season.

Jet2 said the decision followed strong customer interest and continued support from independent travel agents selling breaks to the island.

Ports of Jersey chief executive Matt Thomas welcomed the announcement, describing it as a sign of growing confidence in Jersey as a destination.

The latest expansion follows a series of new route announcements for the island. Earlier this year, Loganair confirmed plans to introduce flights between Jersey and Bordeaux.

With the additional services, Jet2 will operate routes from six UK airports to Jersey, increasing seat capacity by more than 140% compared with summer 2026.

Jet2 chief executive Steve Heapy said travellers would benefit from a wide range of options when planning trips to the island.

He said the combination of weekend and midweek flights would give holidaymakers greater opportunity to enjoy Jersey during the 2027 summer season.
