Islanders Urged to Join ‘River of Orange’ Charity Walk
Islanders are being encouraged to turn out in bright orange this weekend for a 5km charity walk in support of Brighter Futures Jersey.
The event, which sets off from Le Frégate at 09:00 BST on Saturday, invites participants to dress head-to-toe in orange, creating what organisers hope will look like a “river of orange” along the route.
The walk aims to raise awareness of the charity’s work supporting local families and to celebrate the power of community.
In a message to participants, Brighter Futures said: “Whether you walk, waddle, run or dance your way through the 5km, every step you take helps us shine a light on the importance of community and connection. Bring your friends, your family, and your brightest orange – let’s make it a morning to remember.”
