Condor Ferries says cancellations are frustrating

Condor Ferries reported that its Liberation vessel, scheduled to arrive in Jersey on Sunday, had to return to France due to technical issues. The company mentioned that the boat had just resumed service after maintenance and is collaborating with the manufacturer to investigate the problem.

As a result of the cancellations on Sunday and Monday, passengers have been rerouted to alternative sailings starting from Tuesday. The Commodore Clipper has taken over the Liberation's route between Cherbourg, Jersey, and Guernsey. Additionally, some passengers are being redirected to the islands via Portsmouth on Brittany Ferries and utilizing other Condor Ferries services in the coming days.

Condor Ferries issued apologies for the "disruption and inconvenience caused," assuring that freight sailings to Jersey and Guernsey remain unaffected.
