Ann Morgan and Justine Le Bon Bell have been honored with the title of Queen's Nurse for their contributions to community care.
The Queen’s Nurse (QN) title is awarded by the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) and recognises registered nurses with over five years of experience in primary or social care, celebrating their dedication to community service.
With these latest honours, the number of Queen's Nurses at the community nursing charity Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) has risen to five.
Ann Morgan serves as FNHC's Practice Development Clinical Nurse Specialist, while Justine Le Bon Bell is the Head of Education and Development. To earn the title, both nurses had to demonstrate their expertise and experience, supported by references from patients and colleagues.
Ann expressed her joy, saying, "Receiving the Queen’s Nurse title is a great honor. It not only acknowledges the standard and impact of my practice but also highlights the vital role in shaping the future of community nursing."
Justine shared her pride in the recognition, stating, "I am proud to have been recognised in this way." Both nurses will receive their badges and certificates at a ceremony in London later this year.
