New Children’s Play Area Set to Replace Closing Sports Centre

A new children's soft play area is set to open in Jersey, replacing the current facilities at Fort Regent Sports Centre.

The Jersey Development Company has announced its collaboration with the government to create the soft play area as part of the Waterfront development in St Helier. The new space is expected to be ready for visitors by late summer.

This development comes as Fort Regent is scheduled to close its doors at the end of the year. The new facility will provide a modern alternative for families.

Additionally, the company revealed it is inviting expressions of interest from local operators and businesses who wish to manage the new play area once it is complete.
